Project Overview
The Rio Tinto Yarwun alumina refinery is a world-class facility that refines bauxite into alumina for global export. Handling highly corrosive substances such as acids is a critical part of the refining process, requiring specialised piping solutions to ensure safety, durability, and operational efficiency. Pacific Hoseflex was engaged to supply corrosion-resistant piping systems designed for high-performance fluid transfer in acid lines.
Our Scope
Pacific Hoseflex supplied approximately 200 metres of DN200 PTFE lined pipe and fittings, manufactured from carbon steel and painted P23 Lilac in compliance with industry acid service standards.
