The Fig. 101 Hammer Union is a low-pressure union designed for use in manifold lines and general air, water, oil, or gas applications. Featuring a beige nut and yellow subs for easy identification, this union is suited to applications where a reliable threaded connection is required.
This hammer union is rated for 1,000 PSI cold working pressure in standard service, with a 1,500 PSI test pressure. It is available with threaded ends and includes flat-face subs. An O-ring is recommended for line connections where straight breakout of short pipe segments is required.
The Fig. 101 Hammer Union is available in 5″ size, with an approximate weight of 14.96 kg. Sour gas service is not applicable for this model.
